License

Holt is a software product developed by fromzeroagain OÜ (Estonia). Upon registration you receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the application on up to three macOS devices you own.

Trial & Subscription

New users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the app. Subscription pricing and plans will be announced before the trial period ends.

Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. For EU customers, this also serves as your statutory right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. Contact us at hello@writeholt.com to request a refund.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of everything you write. Private posts are stored only on your device and we have no access to them. When you share a post with your Circle or publish to the Web, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content to the intended audience. You can revoke this at any time by changing the post's visibility back to private or deleting it.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Circle or Web sharing features to distribute malicious content, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or violate any applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend access to sharing features if misuse is detected.

Disclaimer

Holt is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for any data loss or damages arising from the use of this software. Because your data is stored locally, we strongly recommend maintaining regular backups of your device.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tallinn, Estonia. If you are an EU consumer, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
